AVAILABLE ROUTES:

131: 12 sites located on either side of 1-10 between Miracle Mile and Anklam. Sites are in a mix of residential, industrial, and park locations (including Tumamoc Hill). Two sites require short hikes (about 1/4 mile) to access, and all sites have detailed descriptions. A GPS unit is not required.


133: 12 sites located between Speedway and Ajo and Grande and Park, in a mix of residential and commercial land uses. One site is located along the Santa Cruz River path. All sites are immediately adjacent to roads and easy to locate, with excellent site descriptions. No GPS needed.


141: 12 sites located between 22nd and Valencia and Country Club and Campbell. All sites are easily accessible and adjacent to roads (one site is in an open field and it is up to the surveyor if they want to use a GPS to locate it). Route can be surveyed quickly in one morning.

142: 12 sites located around Country Club Road between 36th Street and Valencia. All sites are easily accessible and adjacent to roads, and route can be surveyed quickly in one morning.


145: 12 sites located off of Valencia Road in the Kolb/Wilmot area. All sites are easily accessible (1 requires a 250 m walk to reach) and are in a mix of low-density residential, industrial and natural areas. Detailed site descriptions are available and a GPS is not required. Easily surveyed in one morning.


155: 12 sites located off of Golf Links, between Wilmot and Old Spanish Trail. Very easy route to survey, as sites are all immediately adjacent to roads and excellent site descriptions are provided. Most sites are located in residential neighborhoods.


169: 11 sites located W of Houghton, between Escalante and Valencia, bordering Davis Monthan AFB. While this is a new route, all site locations have been ground checked, and detailed descriptions of points prepared. All sites are easily accessible from roads, and can be surveyed in one morning.


179: 12 sites in the Scenic Dr./Silverbell/Twin Peaks area, bordering Saguaro National Park West. A few sites are located within Saguaro NP, and require hiking to reach. Several sites require the use of a GPS to locate exact count position (GPS units are available for loan). Other sites are in rural residential/desert areas. One site is on Santa Cruz river, and several other sites are adjacent to washes. Previous participants have surveyed this route in one or two mornings.
